Breakfast Ideas and Recipes

Are you skipping breakfast? You might think that it’s easier or that it’s “working” for you because somewhere along the way you leaned into intermittent fasting, but how do you know if it’s actually good for you? If you’re not feeling fantastic in your body, feeling energy slumps in the afternoon, or you tend to overeat at night then working breakfast back into your life might be just what you need to create a healthy eating rhythm, balanced blood sugar, and better energy. Fasting through breakfast isn’t for everyone and while it might feel convenient in the morning to skip a meal, ask yourself if not eating in the morning is actually helpful. Does it actually feel good…all day? What are your behavior patterns the rest of the day? Be honest with yourself.

Adding protein and fiber to my morning makes a huge difference in how I feel and function all day. Everyone is different but if you’re not a regular breakfast person I would suggest trying it out for a few weeks and then see how you feel. Here are some of my favorite recipes/ideas for balanced breakfasts.
