Why Learn How to “Eat Normal?”

Diet culture messed up the way we eat and think about ourselves. It's a never-ending cycle that feels awful and keeps you stuck.

Buy & Get Started Right Away

Eating normal means making choices that truly nourish you. ALL of you! If all food is medicine then there are no good or bad foods and we consider the dose. No more diets or "eff it" moments. When you ditch the diets, you're not giving up, you're going all in. It's time to rock a healthier mindset and get the results that come from it.

Our online course is self-paced with short videos to teach you everything we teach our 1:1 clients about healthy eating, mindset, metabolism and more! We also include real time communication so you get answers to all your questions as you learn.

Our Story Started with Food

We loved to eat soo much we went to culinary school, where we met. At the time, we still over-thought food and health. We were both into all the diet trends and fads for far too long. We still had concerns about weight and balancing our desires to eat with our desires to feel well. We both had a nagging mean girl voice that kept telling us that we couldn’t be our happiest until we achieved our ideal bodies. Together we realized that this was no way to live! It feels dreadful to deny yourself self-acceptance and self-confidence at the expense of your present life. We learned that loving yourself first was the way to our goals.

We Weren’t Always Successful…

When we started Path Nutrition in 2014, clients would come to our office and say, “Just tell me what to do and I’ll go do it.” We made BEAUTIFUL meal plans detailed with photos, recipes, and grocery lists. We were giving exactly what they wanted, but not what they needed. Clients were disappointed with themselves because they weren’t following through. They felt shame, guilt, frustration, and they weren’t making any progress. We thought…hmm maybe it’s not them. We made a pivot in our process immediately. We realized something big was missing and so we went to work and came up with a new way to help people build a healthy relationship with their body and food and it worked. We took all the best tools and practices of our 1:1 program and put them inside Foundations for you to experience.

Then, We Figured it Out.

We got to work and studied but more importantly we applied what we learned for years. We gave it to our clients. Our clients were happy and started getting results. They were finding peace with food and their bodies. We helped them to stop overeating, stop over-thinking, stop believing that some diet was going to fix all their life’s problems. We taught them how food works, how their bodies work and how to start thinking better. Clients become more empowered, more self-confident and they became powerful self-advocates of their own health journeys.

We Knew We Had to Share!

We know that our 1:1 programs are powerful and effective. However, we wanted to help more people. So, we created Foundations! It was important to us that this online course felt 3-D. You get to connect with us face to face inside the course. Start the course today!

Five Benefits of Eating Normal

1.  Support your mental health: Constantly being on or off a diet causes stress and anxiety, leading to negative effects on mental health. Eating normal can reduce stress and improve overall mental wellbeing.

2. Improve your physical health: Following a restrictive diet that is not sustainable can cause nutrient deficiencies and impact physical health. (Like your hair falling out) Eating normal means nourishing yourself at the highest level and paying attention to your inner health.

3. Better Body Image: Diet culture often promotes unrealistic body ideals and leads to a negative body image. When you eat normal you learn how to change your mindset and improve overall self-confidence.

4. Long term success: Following a fad diet may lead to short term weight loss, but it is often not sustainable and can result in regaining the weight (usually more than you lost!). Eating normal can lead to long term success and results that last.

5. Enjoyment of food: Diet culture often demonizes certain foods and can lead to a negative relationship with food. Eating normal makes space to enjoy food as well as eat for nourishment.
